Recently, Submarine Networks World 2018, the world's leading annual submarine communications gathering, was held at Suntec city convention center in Singapore. Over 500 authoritative experts in the field of submarine cable were attending the summit. At the summit, the submarine fiber optic cable communication system, the submarine fiber optic cable samples firstly certified by UJ and UQJ in China and many submarine cable application projects at home and abroad intensively showed by ZTT, drew the attentions of a great many internationally well-known submarine cable system operators and senior experts in the field of submarine cable.

The submarine fiber optic cable is designed to be applied in deep sea area with the depth of 8,000m, and has successfully passed deep sea trial with the depth of greater than 4000m. China's first fully developed and domestically produced repeater deep-sea submarine fiber optic cable was provided by ZTT, and had been successfully put into operation in China's seas with support of the repeater. In addition, ZTT’s submarine fiber optic cable has been exported to the United States, Turkey, Singapore, Indonesia and other countries as early as 2011. At the beginning of 2017, ZTT successfully won the bid for 155kV submarine cable project of Tennet, the Power Company in Germany, emerging as the first China’s integrated service provider advancing into globally highest-end European submarine cable market and leading the development of national submarine cable industry.
