Beijing, Jan 2015, ZTT Group - leading global manufacturer of cable systems, had been selected as HVAC submarine power cable supplier for Jiangsu Xiangshui Offshore Wind Farm Project; and now it had been successfully energized for one year.

Jiangsu Xiangshui Offshore Wind Farm is located in the outer sea area of Guan dong and Sanxu salt field in Xiangshui County; approximately 10km away from the shoreline. Water depth ranges from 8m to 12m; Wind turbines type, 3MW type 18 nos., 4MW type 37 nos. and total capacity 202MW. The wind farm was designed with one offshore 220kV booster station to connect to the land centralized control center, and completing the system link via one 220kV export submarine cable.

ZTT provided 12.9 km 220kV HVAC submarine power cable which is a first, in Chinese history for a 220kV three-core HVAC submarine cable, designed for an offshore wind farm export. These products were delivered in Sep, 2015 and manufactured in ZTT submarine cable plant in Jiangsu, China, which is by far the largest and most comprehensive manufacturing base for submarine cable in ASIA. It produces MV and HV submarine power or composite cable as well as submarine fiber optic cable. With the advent of a stable power supply by laying submarine power cables for the wind farm project, we have reduced about 2,000,000 tons carbon dioxide emissions, and brought greener life for our society.

Besides, Xiangshui Changjiang Wind Generation, our partner of the wind farm project, has highly praised ZTT for its well organization and reasonable arrangement, active promotion in the projects process and fully displaying the technical advantage in the wind farm field. Especially, our partner expects the cooperation with ZTT in Binhai North, Phase 2, Offshore Wind Farm Project which is the Second, in Chinese history for a 220kV three-core HVAC submarine cable, designed for an offshore wind farm connection.

Benefiting from the successful operational experience, excellent production capacity and advantages in large cross-section three-core high voltage marine cables and the technical accumulation in submarine cables, ZTT achieved the largest cross-section three-core 220kV submarine power cable project again in Nov 2016 and the products are expected to be delivered in April, 2017.
