Isla Huar Submarine Cable EPC Project for SAESA by SESELEC/ZTT in Chile

The first submarine composite cable in 24kV was successfully installed in the southern part of Chile, South America. The project is the first of many islands to connect for Grupo SAESA and Servicios & Soluciones Electromecánicos S.A. de C.V. (SESELEC) is the EPC contractor of this unique project. ZTT′s Submarine composite cable is servicing Isla Huar, contributing to 500 islanders families being integrated to the Power Grid with better Quality of Life.
Cable delivered in a static tank of more of 100 tonnes. The tank was loaded directly onto an oceanic ship with it′s own heavy lifting crane at Shanghai China, and discharged at the Port of Lirquén (Concepción, Chile). ZTT arranged the whole transportation solution.

ZTT and SESELEC are committed to encourage more projects together.
